The digitisation project – implementation of a SMART GRID CONTROL CENTRE system – consists of establishing an intelligent interconnection system between client companies and Prosimed for data management and adjustment and operation of our customers’ IWTP (Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant) remotely.

This system will also allow us carry out testing and innovate in IWTPs by performing simulations, by varying editable parameters, to modify plant operating conditions. This will enable us to optimise processes at the operational level and in energy terms, so obtaining records and information fundamental for future designs, without the need for field visits. PROSIMED has future plans to integrate artificial intelligence into the system, allowing it to analyse trends in process behaviour and so be able to make predictions about process behaviour.

The system interface will allow for setting of critical limit values and generation of alarms and visual and audible alerts, which can then be sent to operators via messaging (SMS, WhatsApp, e-mail, etc.). This system connecting client companies and Prosimed can be used to improve the planning of preventive maintenance, resulting in improved facility performance.

This will make it possible to diagnose the problem and correct it remotely, acting from the control centre and/or from a tablet, mobile phone or PC, wherever our technicians are.
