BOLTED TANKS

Large Volume Bolted Stainless
Steel Tanks:

$

Corrosion Resistance:

Stainless steel is highly corrosion resistant, ensuring durability even in harsh environments. Possible fabrication in AISI 304/316.

$

Durability and Longevity:

Stainless steel tanks have a long service life without significant deterioration, slashing any needs for frequent replacements.

$

Ease of Maintenance:

They require no special coatings and are easy to clean and maintain.

Enamelled Steel Tanks, compared to Stainless Steel Tanks:

$

Fragility of Enamel:

Enamel can chip or crack over time, especially in applications where there are substantial impacts or vibrations.

$

Temperature Limitations:

They may not be suitable for applications with extremely high temperatures, as the enamel may deteriorate.

$

Possible Need for Additional Coating:

In cases where the enamel becomes damaged, a repair coating may be required.

$

Lower Mechanical Strength:

Enamel can be more susceptible to mechanical damage, which can affect the tank’s structural integrity.

ASSEMBLY PHASES AND PARTS

1

Mounting the shell using Hydraulic Jacks:

This is used to lift and position bolted tanks in a safe, controlled manner. It involves preparing the site, positioning the jacks, gradual lifting and levelling adjustment.

+

Fitting the Water-swellable Seal:

Sealing for joints between tank sections and the reinforced slab that swells on contact with water to prevent leaks.

\

Reinforced Slab and Perimeter Banding:

Creation of a reinforced concrete structure at the base of the tank to distribute its weight evenly and prevent subsidence.
